Laurie is currently a Free Agent of Disruption, following a 29-year career leading the growth of the Chiat/Day and the TBWA network as the Global CMO. While at TBWA, Laurie helped create disruptive strategies for such brands as Apple, Nissan, VISA, Kraft, PNC Bank, McDonalds, GSK, ISC Motorsports and Endurance International among others and win over a Billion dollars in New Business winnings. While at TBWA, Laurie provided industry leadership on such topics as conflict resolution, growth, compensation methodologies and agency review leadership.
Never one to have idle hands, since leaving the agency, Laurie is learning to code, has launched her first app and is restoring a Brownstone in Brooklyn — happy to turn the RFP tables towards a handful of contractors. Laurie serves on the advisory board of UCLA’s Schools of Theatre, Film and Television, where she has helped disrupt the school’s approach to educating the next generation of artists at the intersection of story, performance and technology. Laurie is currently serving on the boards of several startups including MeQuilibrium, playing the role of CEO Muse, as well as writing and speaking on her favorite topic — change management and growth.
